Sticky Rice Cooking School is actually quite easy to find -
From Adelaide- Take the Stirling exit from the Princess Highway (Freeway). Turn left at the roundabout into Pomona Road, also signposted Mount Lofty. At the top of Pomona turn left, then immediately right into Old Mt Barker Road. Sticky Rice Cooking School is about 500m along on the right. Look out for the 2m Buddha statue at our entrance.
From Crafers exit- Drive through Crafers and just after the shops on the left, turn left up
Piccadilly Road
signed towards Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens- Make sure you do not go straight ahead after shops or you
will be
back on the freeway and will have to come off at next exit- Stirling. At the top of Piccadilly Road
veer
right at the 2 way roundabout and follow Old Mt Barker Rd for about .8km. You will go over the top
of the
Freeway, and then turn immediately left onto Old Mt Barker Road. The cooking school is about 500m
along on
the right. Look out for the 2m Buddha statue at our entrance.

“Fabulous Middle Eastern Cooking class with Genevieve Harris. Wonderful day cooking a delicious menu of Hummus and flat bread, Chermoula chicken, Harissa marinated Prawns,with a beautiful eggplant and tomato salad, and bbq lamb skewers marinated in Hilbeh served with baby spinach, pomegranate seeds and yoghurt sauce. Then deep fried almond pastries with honey and orange blossom syrup. All served with lovely wines or fruit juice and water. Fabulous day, heaps of fun and staying at the villas made the walk home very easy. Highly Recommended 5*****”

“Whether it be the villas on offer or the cooking school/classes - Every part of a Sticky Rice is absolutely perfect. The themed villas are each so individually thought out, with a true care for detail and attention to the customers needs & wants. The cooking school side of things is run amazingly - the meals on offer are straightforward and easy to follow, with each step clearly walked through and shown an example of by the Teacher taking the class. Chef Yukiko hosted an especially enjoyable class tonight, full of humour and admirable cooking skills and techniques - truely an unforgettable experience.
